Long before the rise of the Dominion, before the fractured alliances of the 13 Star Systems, there was Karock a mountainous, mineral-rich world teetering between natural beauty and ceaseless conflict. Surrounded by tectonic instability and bathed in the glow of a dying red sun, Karock’s people lived hard, fought harder, and revered strength, discipline, and cosmic alignment as sacred virtues. It was a world divided into castes of warriors, seers, builders, and dreamers, each isolated, each believing themselves superior. That changed when Avok Buox, a warborn tactician and philosopher, emerged from the forge-clans of the Vallad Highlands. He saw that Karock’s future wasn’t in conquest or dominance, but in unity of honor, bound by a code he would call the Vallah Rule, an ancient creed of balance, courage, loyalty, and sacrifice.

The Knights of Karock spread through allied systems, acting as neutral defenders of justice and oaths across conflict zones. They rejected titles, politics, and wealth. Their armour was forged in silence; their blades carried in peace until unsheathed only in absolute necessity. But during the Curak Incursions, the order suffered catastrophic losses. The Curak, a machine-organic hive intelligence—sought to consume Karock’s core as a source of dark energy. The Siege of the Molten Spire claimed Avok Buox. Many fell. Others vanished. The Knights did not die. They scattered. Into caves. Into stars. Into memory. Some say the Prime Order was born from their remnants. Some say they sleep, waiting for the fire to rise again. The Knights of Karock are more than warriors. They are keepers of balance, defenders of honour in an age of betrayal. Though scattered, they move across systems like whispers in smoke.
